4 Spear Ranch is located in Casper, WY. We specialize in raising shorthorn and shorthorn plus cattle, with a focus on quality over quantity. We believe raising cattle that excel in both the show ring and the pasture should go hand in hand. Our commitment to our customers sets us apart, as we not only raise cattle for the show ring but also strive to help each individual succeed in their future goals, whether it be in the ring, in the pasture, on the rail or, all three. Some of our achievements include winning the 2019 NILE Grand Champion Shorthorn Plus Female, the NILE 2022 Grand Champion Shorthorn Plus bull, 2022 Reserve Grand Champion Shorthorn Female at the Cheyenne Livestock Expo and 2023 NILE Reserve Grand Champion Shorthorn Female, multiple county/jackpot level champions as well as numerous champion and reserve champions in carcass and ultrasound contests. 4 Spear Ranch has over 20 years of experience in the industry, and we're highly committed to learning more as we go.
Our Story
Family Owned and Operated
4 Spear Ranch is a family-owned and operated with a passion for the cattle industry and the shorthorn breed. Our journey showing livestock began over 22 years ago. But we've been in the cattle business for closer to 40. Over the years, we have worked hard to develop our breeding program and have achieved great success in the show ring, the pasture and carcass qualities that have pushed us to the top in numerous contests. Today, we are proud to be one of the leading shorthorn breeders in the state of Wyoming, and we remain committed to our goal of providing our customers with the best possible cattle and service's we can.
